Committee Confirms Recent Losses; Championship Record Unaffected

Officials acknowledge several recreational defeats but confirm that none occurred in a sanctioned title match.

GENEVA — The International UNO Hall of Champions today acknowledged reports that World Champion Stephen Boudreau has lost multiple recent games of UNO.

The Committee confirmed that the reported losses did, in fact, occur. A review of the competition calendar determined that each game was held during a period of recreational or preseason play.

“We have no reason to question who won those games,” said a Committee spokesperson. “That is not the issue before us.”

Boudreau has therefore recorded several recreational defeats and zero sanctioned World Championship defeats. His status as reigning, defending, undisputed World Champion is unchanged.

The Committee declined to explain why the preseason has no published end date.
