Competitive Calendar Updated to Reflect Previously Scheduled Preseason

GENEVA — The International Championship Sanctioning Committee today published a revised competition calendar recognizing an extended period of preseason activity.

The revision applies to several recent games previously thought by participants to be of championship significance.

Officials emphasized that the preseason period had always existed as a matter of institutional understanding, and that the new document merely makes that understanding explicit.

The reigning champion’s official competitive record is unaffected.
